Erik Wørts was a Danish cabinet maker who moved to Sweden in the mid-1940s, where he played an essential part in the development of flat package furniture for both NK and IKEA.

Sorø Stolefabrik, founded in 1904, is a Danish furniture manufacturer known for high quality and collaboration with renowned designers in the 1950s and 60s, including Henning Kjærnulf (Model 62) and Erling Torvits.
